Morphology
Small tree or shrubs.
Single leaf, dark green, serated margin.
Flower with at least five petals, long staminal.
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is our national flower. But still in debating that it should not be our national flower. Commanly we call it bunga raya. Not only red in colour, also can be found in yellow, white, pink, purple colour. The flower taste sweet and some are neutral. it is good in reducing cough, and menstruation in women.
The leaf can reduce swollen boil, and skin fevered. Mincing the leaf and put on it. i've tried it once..and it's cool..also can put it on your hair and makes your hair bushy, and helps in breast fevered.
The root can be boiled, and take it as bath and you'll get cooler if you're in a bad fever..try it.
