Abutilon indicum

This is Abutilon indicum. Also known as Kembang Luhur. What so special to this plant is the time of flower blossom only in the evening. It is a shrub 30-120 cm. Leaf with wide cordate, hairy. Seed is brownish colour and hairy.

In medicinal used, the leaf best to be boiled and used as patch on body or forehead because fever and place of ulser. The root can be hot compress to gums of the mouth because of toothache (Burkill 1935).

Below showed of the trichome and type of stomata. The trichome is undulating while the stomata is cylocytic. Also because too hairy, really need a lot of patient. This is my second attempt.
According to Raja Shanmuka Rao and Ramayya (1981) has the type of amphistomatic stomata present. While to Inamdar and Chohan (1969) the type of stomata that present is anomocytic.
